Cask Notes
Over 3 years in an Oloroso sherry-seasoned wine barrique from Bodegas Hidalgo - La Gitana, with a smoky influence from our Cask Islay Sherry Edition. Both the stone fruit notes of the sherry and the coastal smoke of the Islay malt are evident from the wood.
Tasting Notes - Fruit and Smoke
Colour: Deep amber.
Nose: Wild strawberry, lapsang souchong and beeswax.
Palate: Smoked orange marmalade, dried cranberry and fig roll.
Finish: Charred peach and walnut, lifted by subtle clove.
