This peated Arran malt brings a puff of smoke and earthiness to their usual classic fresh character. Named after the windswept and mystical peat bog called Machrie Moor, located on the west coast of the Isle of Arran.
This edition contains some of the last original peated whisky produced at Lochranza Distillery as, since 2019, all peated production of whisky on the island is being done by their sister distillery at Lagg.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Light smoke and citrus.
Palate: Dried grass, peat smoke and hints of vanilla and tropical fruit.
Finish: Citrus, Smoke, Peat, Pineapple.
