Whilst sister cask #4 was bottled as an 11-year-old back in 2014, cask #5 has been allowed to develop much further – finding richer, deeper notes of toffee and orange. Despite this extra time in oak, the much-loved, charred-oat distillery character remains reassuringly prominent.
Tasting Notes - Malty with Tropical Fruit
Colour: Olive gold. Nose: Toasted rye bread, grilled pineapple and marmalade. Palate: Charred corn, Scottish ale, caramel and banana. Finish: The signature distillery character of tropical fruit crowned with faint smoke.
