This House Malt is a 10 year old Glen Garioch single malt Scotch whisky bottled from a single bourbon barrel with the strength reduced to 40% abv.
Flavour Summary Porridge oats, green apple and citrus.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Brilliant gold.
Nose: Creamy porridge, cut grass and lemon zest.
Palate: Golden syrup flapjack, green apple and gooseberry.
Finish: Fresh, crisp and clean as a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
About Our House Malts
Our House Malts are a range of single cask whiskies bottled exclusively for our own whisky shop. We select a single cask from our maturing stocks, reduce the strength to 40% abv and bottle it without adding colour. As is the nature of Single Cask whiskies, the bottles produced from one cask are limited.
The whiskies chosen as our House Malts are enjoyable, easy drinking single malts. However, as is the joy of single cask whiskies, they each have their own unique characteristics and are often from distilleries you may be less familiar with. Simply packaged to offer the best value for money, these whiskies are a good introduction to single malts and an everyday delight for single cask lovers.
UK Delivery Last orders for UK delivery is Tuesday 20th December at 12noon.
Collection Last orders for Collection need to be placed by Friday 22nd December and can be collected from our shop up to 4pm on Sunday 24th December.
Orders placed after that date will be dispatched or made ready for collection when we return on 8th January.
UK Standard Delivery - We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after you have been notified your order has been sent.

- Orders under 2kg (1 bottle or 1 dram set) - £4.95
- Orders over 2kg (2 bottle or more) - £8.95
Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday - Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.
EU Delivery - we are not currently able to send to Europe.
