This is my kind of dram, a real favourite and a tonic from all the sherry finishes around at the moment. At first white pepper, bitter nuts and at times not quite ripe fruit. A dash of water and the fruit and nuts soften and open up beautifully. Massive length on the palate of stone fruits such as apricot and the ever present nuttiness. There are sea salt notes and this would towards Scapa, a very underrated distillery. it could be HP but I doubt it (not an expert). Buy it, but leave some for me as I will be buying again.
