The balance and complexity so characteristic of this distillery are on full display here. However, a hint of peat smoke in the background is the real giveaway as to the source of this Orkney single malt.
Tasting Notes - Sweet and Smoke
Colour: Amber glow.
Nose: Slivered almond, leather and smoked heather honey.
Palate: English walnut, dried apricot and melon.
Finish: A whisper of smoke accentuated by salted toffee and nutmeg.
