Cask Notes
An incredibly clean tea-spooned malt from Laphroaig distillery – a real treat for the senses. Whilst unusual to recommend a peated whisky as an aperitif, this would undoubtedly match impeccably to any seafood canapes.
Tasting Notes - Peaty with citrus fruit.
Colour: Sparkling gold.
Nose: Cool slate, sea kelp and distant beach bonfire on a fresh Islay breeze.
Palate: Green olive, steamed mussel, earthy peat and lemon.
Finish: Pink grapefruit, salt cracker and a myriad of sensations on the tongue.
