Our House Malts have been specially selected to celebrate the legacy of the Morrison family, who have had whisky at their hearts for over a century. Within the range are malts from the Lowland, Highland and Islay regions, where the family established their distilling roots.

UK Standard Delivery - We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after you have been notified your order has been sent.

  • Orders over £120 - FREE.
  • Orders under 2kg (1 bottle or 1 dram set) - £4.95
  • Orders over 2kg (2 bottle or more) - £8.95

Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday - Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.

Celebrating The Morrison Family Legacy

Our House Malts have been specially selected to celebrate the legacy of the Morrison family, who have had whisky at their hearts for over a century. Within the range are malts from the Lowland, Highland and Islay regions, where the family established their distilling roots.

Their story starts with Stanley P. Morrison (pictured) who became one of Glasgow’s most successful whisky brokers. Then later moving into distilling with the purchase of the iconic Bowmore Distillery in 1963, followed by Auchentoshan, and Glen Garioch distilleries, creating what was then known as the Morrison Bowmore portfolio.

A. D. Rattray was founded by Andrew Dewar Rattray in 1868 but soon passed into the hands of the Morrison family, who have been at our helm ever since. The skills and knowledge that have passed down through the generations and the continued guidance of the Morrison family have formed the independent whisky company as we know it today.  

The Morrison family legacy turned full circle when they returned to distilling in 2017. Renovating the old Pump House on the Queen’s Dock in Glasgow to opening our sister company, The Clydeside Distillery.

Our House Malts range takes you across Scotland with three single malt Scotch whiskies, each from different distillery regions.

Each whisky in the range is 10 years old and has been matured in Bourbon casks. Bottled at 40% strength, they are easy drinking yet flavourful single malts.

Enjoy a Lowland malt with delicious Tropical Fruit flavours, a Highland malt offering indulgent Spiced Apple flavours and an Islay malt with intense Barbeque Smoke flavours.

Visit for gifts

Having parents who like whisky we stopped at the shop to get some gifts. Not knowing what we were really buying having the drinks explained to us and getting some of the history made purchases that much easier
