Wild Elderberry Liqueur
Buck & Birch have created a range of Wilderness Liqueurs which are inspired by their adventures into the Wild to find Scottish foraged fruits and herbs.
For Aelder Elixer they gather Elderberry, Meadowsweet, Sweet woodruff, Flowering currant, Yarrow and Hogseed that are then expertly infused in Blended Scotch Whisky.
Serves: Simply served without ice, it is very similar to Port and is delicious with a cheeseboard. Or makes lovely cocktails like a Negroni.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet and earthy with notes of black cherry and cacao.
Palate: As smooth as crushed velvet.
Flavour: Dark stone fruits, chocolate and subtle spice. Rich, comforting and gently warming
