The Isle of Harris Distillery has released the second permanent expression within their The Hearach single malt range. The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured arrives exactly one year following the historic release of their inaugural whisky.
Bottled at 46% ABV, the non-chilled filtered and lightly peated at 12-15ppm. It has been matured in casks hand-picked for quality from the respected Bodega José y Miguel Martín in the beautiful Andalusia region in southern Spain.
Tasting Notes
“Initial winter aromas of cinnamon, orange peel, and cloves which remind me of Christmas at home. There are green notes of herbs and the nostalgic creaminess of white chocolate from childhood days. When sipped, I can taste walnuts and fireside wood smoke. The dram develops with a hint of thyme from my kitchen, closely followed by dried oranges. Spices then come through, like vanilla pods and a subtle sense of cloves, before a long leather and liquorice finish."

Collection - Order by 12 noon Friday 20th December. Collect by 4pm Sunday 22nd December.
Orders placed after these dates will be dispatched or made ready for collection when we return on 13th January 2025.
UK Standard Delivery - We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after you have been notified your order has been sent.

Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday - Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.
EU Delivery - we are not currently able to send to Europe.
