Cask Notes
Croftengea, meaning “tree of the pledge,” is one of Loch Lomond’s heavily peated single malts. After two years in a Marsala wine barrique, the smoke is bold and expressive, mingling with herbal notes and sweet pear, while pine and cedar linger on the finish, creating a dram that is powerfully peated yet layered and distinctive.
Tasting Notes - Mineral/smoke and herbal
Colour: Radiant gold.
Nose: Burnt pear, meadow hay and smoky peanut butter.
Palate: Sweet smoke, hot pear drops and cool mint ash.
Finish: Sweet smoke lingers, wrapped in pine and cedar warmth.
Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday -Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.
UK Wide Standard Delivery - We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after you have been notified your order has been sent.
