Cask Notes
Over 4 years of secondary maturation in a wine barrique emptied for our Cask Islay Sherry Edition. Subtle stone fruit notes from the original sherry maturation, and a faint coastal smoke from the Islay malt seasoning are evident. A cask strength whisky with everything in moderation, including moderation itself.
Tasting Notes - Citrus fruit and mineral/smoke.
Colour: White peach.
Nose: Manuka honey, sliced apricot and cool ash.
Palate: Grilled passion fruit, wee heavy ale and ground clove.
Finish: Citric and intense, with butterscotch, smoked walnut and lemon.
