Cask Notes
In the interests of openness and transparency, we aim to be as precise and detailed as is practical on our labels, noting here a second maturation in 1st fill Oloroso for 34 months. What we couldn’t fit in is that the premium quality European oak finishing cask was seasoned for 3 years prior to filling.
Tasting Notes - Dried fruit and sweet/nut.
Colour: Autumn leaf.
Nose: Cherry and marzipan cake, sultana and raspberry coulis.
Palate: Spiced bramble, dark chocolate and fresh Javan coffee.
Finish: Rich, sticky date and raisin pudding, with a demerara caramel glaze.

Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday - Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.
