Cask Notes
Ardmore is almost always encountered in its moderately peated form, but Ardlair reveals the distillery’s unpeated make. Matured in a low-impact ex-bourbon barrel, this cask shifts the focus toward orchard fruit, honeyed malt and soft spice.
Tasting Notes - Stone fruit and spice
Colour: Butterscotch gold.
Nose: Fragrant peach, crisp green apple and orange yoghurt.
Palate: Fresh apricot, passion fruit and white pepper.
Finish: Honeyed fruit salad with a smooth, creamy aftertaste.
