This limited edition is the fourth and final release in Arran's Signature Series that have been selected and signed by distillery manager Stewart Bowman.
Edition 4 is named ‘Sherry Serenade’ and showcases the full richness of sherry cask maturation while remaining true to the distinctive spirit of Arran.
Matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Amontillado sherry casks, this 9 Year-Old unpeated expression delivers exceptional depth and complexity. Rich notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and warming spice are balanced by bright citrus and a subtle coastal character, creating a whisky of remarkable structure and elegance.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Dried figs, dark raisins layered with roasted nuts, polished oak and a touch of leather.
Palate: Full-bodied, velvety treacle. Toffee, chocolate-coated cherries layered with walnuts and espresso.
Finish: Toasted oak and caramelised orange fading into nutty sherry and soft cocoa.
