Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Machrie Moor, is named after a windswept and mystical peat bog on the west coast of Arran. This peated cask strength whisky brings peated smoke to the classic fresh Arran Single Malt character.
This is you last chance to try the original peated whisky produced at Arran’s Lochranza distillery, as since 2019 all peated production of whisky on the island is being done by their sister distillery at Lagg.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus notes with a background of peat and a puff of smoke immediately apparent.
Palate: A robust dram with the typical orchard fruits of Arran coming to the fore over a layer of toasted brioche and red berries.
Finish: Citrus, Smoke, Chocolate, Vanilla, Coconut.
