Key location for Ken Loach’s excellent 2012 film The Angel’s Share, Balblair is a characterful make that’s rarely in the spotlight. A real showstopper when given a platform to shine here in refill bourbon wood.
Tasting Notes - Cereal and Herbal.
Colour: Butterscotch gold.
Nose: Rolled oats, pumpernickel and patchouli oil.
Palate: Chewy flapjack, grilled orange and coriander leaf.
Finish: Charred oak and desiccated coconut as the wood takes centre stage.
