Cask Notes
Characterised as “flawless” prior to re-rack. Rather than mask any harsh or unwanted character, this hogshead was finished for more than 11 months in a French Limousin oak barrique, that previously held Cognac for 5 years, to build layers of fruit flavour and texture upon the light, grassy Glen Spey spirit.
Tasting Notes - Sweet/nut and stone fruit.
Colour: Nectarine gold.
Nose: Dried plum. Curacao organge and Battenberg cake.
Palate: Poached apricot, clover honey and almond butter.
Finish: Sweet cinnamon and stone fruit, cut with a light gooseberry tartness.
Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday -Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.
UK Wide Standard Delivery - We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after you have been notified your order has been sent.
