Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Lagg Distillery on Arran is commitment to peated single malts that hark back to the illicit stills of Arran's past. This edition was matured initially in Bourbon Barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads. Bottled at 55% Vol, with no added colouring or chill filtration, the Corriecravie Edition is is slightly richer than the Kilmory expression bringing to the fore notes of sweeter spices and rich fruits.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Dark chocolate and spiced red berries.
Palate: Rich and mouth watering with subtle notes of charred embers and hazelnut.
Finish: Charred Oak, Smoke, Hazelnut, Dark chocolate, Sweet Spice.
