The Beast of Dufftown returns... Our first release from this iconic distillery in over a decade has been well worth the wait. Refill bourbon wood gives a fascinating insight into the very particular spirit character produced at Mortlach. “Agricultural” is a description you won’t often find in a whisky’s marketing, however, it rather neatly and vividly summarises the rugged nature of this wonderful dram.
Tasting Notes - Mineral/smoke and umami.
Colour: Lemon gold.
Nose: Bergamot orange, steamed Epicure potato and braised cabbage.
Palate: Chicken crackling, roast chestnut and sweetcorn fritter.
Finish: Earthy Ceylon vanilla, lapsang souchong and a lingering engine oil smoke.
Click & Collect - Orders can be collected from our shop in Kirkoswald, Monday -Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Your order will usually be ready within 24 - 48hrs but please wait until we confirm your order is ready before visiting.
UK Wide Standard Delivery - We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after you have been notified your order has been sent.

- Orders over 2kg (2 bottle or more) - £8.95
